An Aryan Brotherhood defector testified under heavy guard in a Sacramento courtroom that the white supremacist prison gang has targeted a number of Folsom Prison correctional officers for execution. Robert Ryan Rowland, who said he was a member of the prison gang and took part in the conspiracy “until a couple months ago,” said the plan was to kill the officers “as soon as people in the Aryan Brotherhood were available to do so on the streets.” Rowland testified at a preliminary hearing into a felony charge against Judith Danelle Box, 38, a former state employee accused of using Franchise Tax Board computers to trace the home address of at least one targeted officer. Rowland said Box was the “old lady” of Phil (Wildman) Fortman, one of the gang members involved in the scheme. Box was ordered by Municipal Court Judge George Nicholson to stand trial on a single count of gaining unlawful access to a computer system for malicious purposes.
