Summer Start Scheduled for $85-Million Coronado Hilton
A construction start this summer is expected for the $85-million Coronado Bay Hilton on 17 acres of man-made peninsula and channel in the Coronado Cays area of San Diego Bay.
A development of Joelen Enterprises, designed by Naegle Associates, La Jolla, the “luxury destination resort hotel and marina” will have 450 guest rooms, 18 bay suites right over the water, a 97-slip marina and eight tennis courts.
Completion is expected in 1990 on the project that was formerly called Crown Isle Resort.
