Miles Davis says he’s “feeling fine” and will leave New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery on Friday, having recuperated from surgery performed on a thigh abscess. Davis was in the midst of rehearsing for the recent Grammy Awards when he was forced to cancel his appearance and enter the hospital. Davis plans to continue on to Australia, one of the stops on his worldwide concert tour. The jazz great also confirmed that his wife, actress Cicely Tyson, has filed for divorce. The two married in November, 1981.
