Local News in Brief : Limits at the Rose Bowl

Share

After an 18-month study by a citizens task force, the Pasadena Board of Directors has decided to limit major events at the Rose Bowl to 12 a year. There are now about 10 such events a year, including UCLA football games.

The board also agreed Monday to place a 9 p.m. curfew on all but sporting events, which will be allowed to go on until 10 p.m.

Residents who live in the fashionable neighborhoods near the stadium have long tried to limit the number of events because of concerns over traffic and noise.
