Local News in Brief : Election Forum Tonight
Candidates for Gardena City Council and city treasurer will appear at a political forum tonight at the Nakaoka Community Center.
The candidates will speak and answer questions from the audience. Appearing at the forum will be councilmen James Cragin and Paul Tsukahara, and challengers Ollie B. Hadley and Eldore (Bud) Nelson. City treasurer candidates Jonathan Kaji, Kenneth L. Sutton and Lorenzo Ybarra will also participate.
The forum begins at 7 p.m. at the center, 1700 W. 162nd Street. It is sponsored by the Gardena Valley Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters.
