Local News in Brief : Laguna Niguel : Miura Named to Post in Community Services
Dennis T. Miura has been named controller of the Laguna Niguel Community Services District.
Miura previously was employed by the Southern California Assn. of Governments, where he was finance officer before becoming controller. Before joining SCAG, he was fiscal officer for Los Angeles County for 11 years.
Miura’s responsibilities with the Community Services District will include organizing and managing the district’s financial activities and performing internal audits, financial reporting, accounting and budgeting.
