Local News in Brief : Fountain Valley : Bandit With Pistol Robs Black Angus Restaurant

A man wielding a pistol Monday night robbed Stuart Anderson’s Black Angus Restaurant at 17920 Brookhurst St. of an undetermined amount of money and then fled by car, police said.
The robber entered the restaurant about 10:45 p.m. and demanded money from the bartender, Police Sgt. Larry Griswold said. No one was injured.
The robber left the restaurant in a gold 1970s American model sedan, Griswold said. The car was last seen heading west on Talbert Avenue.
Griswold said the man was wearing a blue denim baseball cap and a tan shirt. He was described as a 6-foot white male, between 20 and 30 years of age with a stubbly beard and weighing about 240 pounds.
