Driver Reports Shot From Passing Auto
Glendale police are investigating a report of a roadway shooting.
Adelina Rodriguez, 27, of Glendale, told police she was traveling west on San Fernando Road near Rosedale Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday when she heard a gunshot she believed came from an oncoming car as it passed her, police said.
The driver’s-side window was shattered, police said.
Rodriguez told police she did not see a gun and couldn’t see anyone in the second auto, which she described as a black, older model.
Officers did not find a bullet in Rodriguez’s car, which had been carrying her two children, mother-in-law, a niece and a sister.
No one was injured, police said.
