Mr. Prez

In George C. Scott’s “The Casual Assassination of ‘Mr. President’ ” (April 3), I was relieved to read of his lack of creative input to the innocuous sitcom and dismayed that he, as his alter ego implied, “let the people down.”

Hopefully, by his own admission of not giving the show what all his adoring fans (well deserved by his brilliant talent) expected, he will try again--or do it right this time!
