Monrovia : Blakely Named to Council
Lara Blakely has been appointed to the City Council to fill the seat of Robert Bartlett, who was elected mayor last week.
Blakely, 35, who ran third in a field of four candidates for two council seats, will serve until 1990. A social services administrator with Foothill Family Services in Pasadena, she has lived in Monrovia for 13 years and has served on the Community Services Commission for three years.
