First Harbor City Community Fair Set for Saturday
- Share via
Harbor City is holding its first community fair Saturday, and organizers hope that the all-day event at Harbor City Park will foster local spirit.
“They don’t have any community events . . . not even on the Fourth of July,” said Niki Tennant of the Harbor City/Harbor Gateway Chamber of Commerce, one of the sponsors of the fair. “This is to create community support and feeling.”
The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the park, on the corner of Frampton Avenue and Lomita Boulevard. It will feature international foods, craft booths, a car show and drawings with prizes that include a weekend trip to Las Vegas.
