‘Nobody Listened’

U.S.A., 1988, 117 minutes, 8 p.m. Co-director Nestor Almendros attacked Castro’s Cuba in “Improper Conduct” for its treatment of gays. Disturbing and frequently convincing--though the deck is somewhat stacked and the tone sometimes shrill.
