Long Beach : Edgerton Endorses Kell

Share

Mayor Ernie Kell has added Councilman Wallace Edgerton to the list of council members endorsing him in his bid to become Long Beach’s first modern-day full-time mayor.

Edgerton, the District 1 councilman who was reelected April 12, said in a statement that “Kell always has maintained the highest standards of integrity as a public official and has represented our city ably.”

While Edgerton was neutral during the primary, his campaign committee gave $150 to public relations executive Luanne Pryor, who nearly edged out Councilwoman Jan Hall for second place in the mayor’s race. Hall and Kell face one another in the June 7 runoff.
