Here’s Unofficial Cause of Death
Though her death certificate will say otherwise, stating that she died of this or that medical complication, there is no doubt in my mind that 51-year-old Helen Louise Settles died of a broken heart.
It was seven years ago that her only son, Ron Settles, a football player for California State University, Long Beach, died in the Signal Hill jail under very suspicious circumstances.
Now at least her grieving days are over. She is at last reunited with her son in a more loving and compassionate world.
