4 Killed in Crash in Valley Center
Four people were killed and one seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Valley Center Saturday night.
The collision, involving two cars and a large truck or crane, occurred at about 7:30 p.m., a spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP officers set up blockades around the crash site on Valley Center Road between Lake Wohlford and Woods Valley roads, while they waited for a special accident investigation team to arrive from Los Angeles, she said.
Four people were reportedly dead at the scene and one suffered major injuries. The names of the victims and further details about the accident were not immediately available.
