Slashman Freddy Krueger won’t be stalking Swedish movie houses. The Swedish government banned “Nightmare on Elm Street 3--The Dream Warriors” from opening in the country, calling the horror flick “harmful and an incitement to violence.” A prohibition against public screenings of “Nightmare” took effect last July after the film opened. But “Nightmare’s” Swedish distributor, Succe Film, is still trying to get the movie readmitted to theaters through extensive editing. If that fails, a spokesman said, the company will try to distribute it on video.
