Robert Wagner ‘Told It Like It Is’

In regard to your April 24 article on former South Pasadena City Councilman Robert Wagner, headlined “Wagner Fires Parting Blast at S. Pasadena ‘Good Ol’ Boys”:
Robert Wagner always told it like it is. Now one of the newly elected council members is a part of the “good ol’ boys” system, and the council has unanimously agreed to appoint a good ol’ boy as mayor. We’ll see how smoothly a city can be run.
At least readers will be able to pick up the local paper without seeing the weekly diatribe against Wagner. He was a pariah from the day he was elected and never became one of the good ol’ boys, so they never let up on him.
Now, tranquillity will resume once again since the coterie is back running things.
