McCrary, Lucas in Spotlight at Signal Hill Chamber Fete

Chief of Police Mike McCrary and Associate Justice Campbell M. Lucas, the newly confirmed presiding justice of the Court of Appeal (Division 5, 2nd District), will share the spotlight June 10 as the city’s Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual dinner-dance.

Themed “A Touch of Class,” the event will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Long Beach Marriott Hotel, with no-host cocktails starting at 6:30 p.m. A formal dinner will be served at 7:30, followed by entertainment and dancing until midnight.

The business portion of the program will feature the installation of the chamber’s new officers and board of directors by Lucas, who is the husband of Elizabeth Lucas, a Signal Hill businesswoman and calligrapher. Admission to the dinner-dance is $37.50 per person, and the public is invited. Reservations may be made by calling the chamber at 424-6489.
