“Nightline” anchor Ted Koppel, who had been working without a contract since December, signed a new pact with ABC Thursday, a network spokesman said. No details of the contract were made public. However, sources said that final terms are still being worked out on one unusual aspect of the new agreement in which Koppel would get his own production company, Koppel Communications. The company would produce at least four prime-time news specials annually for ABC.
