Local News in Brief : Burglar Pleads Guilty
A burglar on parole pleaded guilty to breaking into the Nichols Canyon home of former “Candid Camera” host Alan Funt and to charges stemming from eight other residential burglaries in the area.
David Washington, 31, pleaded guilty to 16 felony counts, including burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, rape, sodomy and robbery.
He was charged in connection with a string of residential break-ins and attacks that began in September.
