Philistines at Work

Share

I was dismayed to read of the four-lane highway being built through the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve (“Work Start Angers Foes of Canyon Preserve Road,” April 29).

As a handicapped person with a love of nature, one of my enjoyments was to be able to walk as far as the adobe ruin in the canyon, and on the way do some bird watching.

How anyone can want to ruin these lovely meadowlands, I’m at a loss to know.

All I can say is that developers are a greedy, selfish, uncaring load of Philistines only interested in the almighty dollar and then moving on to the next project.
