Trianna Back to Defend City Women’s Golf Title
Defending champion Jericho Gonzales Trianna will head a field of 80 amateur golfers teeing off in today’s opening round of the 65th annual Los Angeles City Women’s golf tournament at the Sepulveda Golf Complex.
The first and third rounds of the three-day event will be held on the 6,133-yard, par-75 Encino course. The second round will be contested on the 5,890-yard, par-72 Balboa course.
Trianna, a member of the Sepulveda Women’s Club, shot a 223 for 54 holes last year, winning by three strokes over Peggy Hogan of Santa Barbara.
