Hart Versus Ferguson in Assembly Race
I believe that Assemblyman Gil Ferguson should be reelected.
I am a retired teacher, and our association was futilely attempting to notify our members of the opportunity to buy into health insurance at the same rate we were paying as a teacher before retirement. There was a time limit.
Statewide, the efforts of chapters were unable to break through the mire of bureaucracy to include our insurance announcement. I called most of our local representatives. Almost last on the list was Gil Ferguson. All of the others shuttled me in circles. Ferguson’s office not only persuaded Sacramento to include that message, but we are allowed to continue to communicate.
And I don’t know of anyone running today that would have the courage to face politician Tom Hayden and his money. The young drafted men that were forced to go to Vietnam to face death deserve more than to have had Hayden and Jane Fonda aiding and abetting the enemy. I agree with Col. Ferguson: Hayden must be ousted from the Assembly.
