‘Wrong Road: No on 74’
It’s strange that no one (The Times included) has advanced what I think is the most important argument against Proposition 74. The proposed bond issue will assure that only California taxpayers will pay for the additional freeway construction. On the other hand, increased gasoline taxes assure that the millions of out-of-state users of our freeways also pay their fair share.
