Lotto’s $26 Million Unclaimed, Jackpot Soars to $35 Million
No one won the record $26-million jackpot in Wednesday’s Lotto 6-49 drawing, which means the top prize for the weekend game will be $35 million, state Lottery officials said today.
Sales for Wednesday’s drawing set a record $24.6 million, including a one-day record of $18.7 million that may be eclipsed in the next Lotto game Saturday.
Two players picked five of the six winning numbers, plus the bonus number, to share a $2.6-million prize, a spokesman said.
The tickets were purchased at Allan’s Arco Mini-Mart on Carson Street in Torrance and at a Circle K market on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.
The winning numbers were 16, 25, 30, 39, 29, 41 with the bonus number 1.
