A major choreographer of both vintage modern-dance (“Trend,” 1937) and classic Broadway musicals (“My Fair Lady,” 1956), Hanya Holm is profiled in this 1984 documentary through interview segments, archival footage and reminiscences by distinguished colleagues. A model of comprehensive research and resourceful film-making, “Hanya” is weakened only by the limitations of its hourlong broadcast format.
