COMMENCEMENT 1988
West Coast University held its 39th annual commencement Saturday at the Wilshire Ebell Theater. Degrees were conferred on 364 students, including 256 who received graduate degrees.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. George A. Roberts, president and chief executive officer of Teledyne Inc., said: “We have come to rely more heavily on universities of the future--like West Coast University--to help us ‘grow our own’ by educating and reeducating those already participating in the lifelong learning society.” Roberts was awarded an honorary degree.
