Bob McCurry has been promoted to executive vice president-sales and operations and elected a director of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Torrance. McCurry previously was senior vice president.
Jim Perkins, currently group vice president-sales, marketing, distribution and planning, has been promoted to senior vice president-Lexus division. He will be responsible for all activities in the new luxury car division.
Hiroshi Imai, formerly vice president and assistant to the group vice president of sales and marketing, has been promoted to group vice president-manufacturing liaison and distribution.
Brian E. Barents, senior vice president of Toyota Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of TMS, is appointed vice president of TMS’ sales staff as well.
Robert A. Best, formerly vice president-corporate planning, systems and business development, has been promoted to group vice president in the same capacity. Michael V. Cummings has been elected senior vice president of the Bank of California’s Real Estate Banking Group.
