Alhambra : New Police Chief Sworn In
Russell Siverling, 39, was sworn in as police chief and director of public safety Tuesday, succeeding Joe Molloy, who left Alhambra to become Anaheim police chief.
City Manager Kevin Murphy appointed Siverling to the position, which also includes supervision of the Fire Department. Siverling joined the Police Department nearly 17 years ago and has served as a captain for 2 1/2 years.
