Celtics Smarting After Playoff Loss

K.C. Jones has led the Boston Celtics to the NBA championship series year in and year out, but Jimmy Rodgers gets credit as being the “brains of the outfit” by Mike Downey.

Now that Boston is on a downhill slide, everyone has pointed a finger at Jones for not playing his bench, which included that great acquisition--Jim Paxson (0 points in Games 4 and 5 of the Piston series)--by the “brains,” Jimmy Rodgers.
