Landreaux Signs With the Orioles

Outfielder Ken Landreaux, who hit .203 in 155 games with the Dodgers last year, on Tuesday signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles.

Landreaux, who became a free agent after last season, will report to triple-A Rochester of the International League. Landreaux, 33, has a .268 career average in 1,264 games with the Minnesota Twins, Dodgers and Angels. His best season was in 1979 for Minnesota when Landreaux hit .305 with 15 homers and 83 runs batted in.
