Concert promoter Bill Silva has added an August 7 show by Rod Stewart to the summer lineup at Southwestern College, but moved an Aug. 6 appearance by Bob Dylan and the Alarm to the smaller Sammis Pavilion at the Batiquitos Lagoon arts center in Carlsbad. Silva associate John Nelson said the switch was made because Dylan and his New Wave openers haven’t been doing as well on the road this year as expected. The Sammis accommodates 5,000 fewer people than Southwestern.
