Panelists Will Discuss Growth and Sewerage

The Los Angeles area district council of the Urban Land Institute and the Los Angeles Headquarters City Assn. will hold a panel session Wednesday that will examine the impact of growth on waste water management in the Los Angeles area.

The session will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 711 S. Hope St., with registration beginning at 11:15 a.m. and the introductory remarks at 1 p.m., according to Thomas R. Larmore, one of the speakers.

Topics will include problems caused by the rapid growth and the inadequacies of the sewer system, the approach taken by Los Angeles to resolve them and the actions available to the real estate development community to limit the discharge of waste water into the sewer system.
