San Clemente : Seminar on Ocean, Beach Use Scheduled

A free seminar on how to safely enjoy the beaches and the ocean will be given July 2 by members of the San Clemente Marine Safety Division.
During the two-hour program that starts at 9 a.m., there will be discussions on rip tides, a prime threat to swimmers; how to approach marine animals, avoiding sunburn and other subjects, according to Marine Safety Lt. Bill Humphreys.
The seminar will be held at the Community Center, 100 Avenida North Seville.
