My daughter was 14 years old when she gave birth to my granddaughter Amy. I told her before the baby was born that a baby is not a doll--when you get tired of playing with it or can’t cope with taking care of it, you cannot put the baby away and forget about it. Thank God it never came to that, but Forster did just that, and she was going to have another baby also.
Dershowitz said the ACLU would question the judge for taking Debra Ann’s rights away. The religious fanatics would say you can’t take away her right to bear children, only God can do that. Tell me then Mr. Deshowitz, when do the rights of these children come into view?
The decision made by the judge was the only one he could have given. Forster should not be allowed to bring any more children into this world.
