Seminar to Assist Small Business Owners in Advertising, Marketing

LONG BEACH — The Business Consulting Service of Long Beach, in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration, will present a seminar designed on successful utilization of advertising, marketing and public relations from 8 a.m. to noon July 19 at the Golden Sails Hotel, 6285 E. Pacific Coast Highway.
Speakers will be Jerry Foster of the Advance Marketing Group, Stephanie James of Davis & Associates and Kathryn Berry of Berry & Bauer. The fee is $25 and includes parking, materials and a continental breakfast.
The Business Consulting Service of Long Beach, which is co-sponsored by the city and the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, offers free counseling to anyone who has a valid city business license or is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Reservations for the seminar or information on the service may be obtained by calling 436-1251.
