She later moved to Los Angeles and married Rudolph Waldo Rheinschild, who served as assistant regional administrator for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles. Her husband died in 1985 after a 60-year marriage.

She is survived by two sons, Rudolph William Rheinschild of Laguna Hills and Dr. Gary Wayne Rheinschild of Tustin, five grandchildren and a brother, William Leroy Allard Jr. of Laguna Niguel.

A gathering was held in her memory Sunday, and family members said that her ashes will be interred within 10 days but that no date has been set.
