Local News in Brief : Countywide : Grand Jury Scrutinizes OCTD Accident Figures

The county grand jury reported Monday that it could find no reason for a 44.6% increase in collisions involving Orange County Transit District buses during the first three months of 1987 over the previous year.
But the report noted that 69% of 103 accidents in January, February and March of this year involved bus drivers with four or more years’ experience and recommended that drivers undergo more training.
