The Bowers Museum Board of governors elected a new slate of officers for the 1988-89 fiscal year, which begins July 1. Harriet Harris, chairwoman of Costa Mesa-based Ridgewood Development Co., was reelected as president and Douglas K. Ammerman, a partner in the Orange County office of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., was reelected as treasurer.

New officers are: Parker S. Kennedy, first vice president; Arthur V. Strock, second vice president; and John M. Rau, secretary. Kennedy is executive vice president of First American Title Insurance Co., Santa Ana, Strock is president of Strock Architects, Newport Beach, and Rau is president of David Industries, Costa Mesa.
