A 19-year-old San Diego man died Tuesday after being shot several times, a police spokesman reported.
Police found Miguel Guadalupe Montona of Clinton Street about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the living room of his girlfriend’s apartment in the 3700 block of National Avenue, Lt. Phil Jarvis said. Montona, who had suffered chest wounds, was dead on arrival at UC San Diego Medical Center. Police said it was unclear whether Montona had been shot while in the apartment. Witnesses told police that at least two persons may have been involved in the killing.
Police are seeking Herberto Edward Marron for questioning. Marron was described as 18 or 19, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, with long dark hair with a flat top. He may be driving a 1976 or 1977 white or light-blue Cadillac with Pennsylvania license plates NLL 306.
