Ex-Football Players Don’t Have It So Bad
Oh dear, my heart is breaking for all those unfortunate football players who have had such a hard time readjusting to life (June 27).
I hope Mike Carter (former National Football League player) will soon be emotionally fit to cover all his body scars and walk into a hospital and see some people recovering from open heart surgery, or visit the homeless, or gee, even talk to a deaf child.
Football players should get their priorities straight and enter the real world.
