Each Sunday I try to catch my favorite public affairs programs: “Meet the Press,” “McLaughlin Group,” “Face the Nation” and “This Week With David Brinkley.” On June 19, there was a rare, perhaps unique happening. All four programs were neatly scheduled end-to-end, with no overlapping and no time separation. Thank you, NBC, CBS and ABC! I suppose this was a fluke, but if this practice could be continued, I am sure it would be welcomed by most of the targeted audience.
