Going fishing is a very American tradition. Yet, for one American, Terence Goudeau (Metro, June 28), it was almost a fatal one.
Peaceful Americans are told they didn’t belong. Not at Howard Beach, but at our own Playa del Rey this time.
We at Westside Fair Housing Council give thanks Terence Goudeau and Trenton Wilson are now safe.
We deplore the violence against them and welcome support from concerned citizens in the community who want to help make the pledge we quote on the 4th of July--”With Liberty and Justice for All”--a reality for all times.
