Airliner Sideswipes Truck, Is Grounded by Damage

MINNEAPOLIS —
The left wing of a Northwest 727 passenger jet was damaged when it sideswiped a service truck, police at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport said. The 84 passengers were reassigned to later flights because the plane was forced to return to its hangar after the incident Monday, a Northwest spokesman said.
