Leeza Gibbons, a reporter and co-host on the syndicated “Entertainment Tonight” show, is making the jump to network TV. She’ll be a co-host of the NBC summer series “George Schlatter’s Funny People,” which premieres July 27. The show’s other hosts are Blake Clark, Scott Blakeman and Rita Rudner.

Dick Clark and Tracy Scoggins will host the sixth annual Miss Teen USA Pageant, due for broadcast on CBS July 25 from San Bernardino. Kristi Addis, last year’s winner, will headline a production number on the telecast.

NBC has turned to a longtime Disney star, Hayley Mills, to head the cast of a TV series it is producing for the Disney pay-TV channel. Mills, who starred as a child in such Disney films as “Pollyanna” and “The Parent Trap,” will play a teacher in “Good Morning, Miss Bliss.” Following its airing on the Disney Channel, the series will run on NBC.

In case you missed them the first time around: NBC is repeating “The Deliberate Stranger,” which stars Mark Harmon as convicted murderer Ted Bundy, on July 24 and 25, and ABC is encoring “Hollywood Wives,” with Candice Bergen, Suzanne Somers, Mary Crosby, Joanna Cassidy and Angie Dickinson, on Aug. 7 and 8.

Attention “Masterpiece Theatre” fans: The PBS series will begin its 18th season Oct. 16 with “A Perfect Spy,” a seven-part dramatization of the John Le Carre novel. Produced by the BBC in England, it stars Peter Egan, Ray McAnally, Peggy Ashcroft and Alan Howard.
