Tom Selleck has joined the currently hot baseball-Hollywood pipeline, although the film he’s working on, “Her Alibi,” doesn’t concern the grand old game. But Selleck--once a cager at USC--did suit up (as No. 14) and take batting practice with the Baltimore Orioles earlier this week. But two Minnesota Twins players--catcher Al Newman and outfielder Mark Davidson--were less than enchanted with Selleck after the star refused to give them autographs. Thus it was time for a little sophomoric ball-yard humor: Newman filled Selleck’s sweat-removing towel with shaving cream. “I got my revenge,” Newman said.
