Diceon Electronics reported a 20% decline in net income for its third quarter ended July 2, to $2.1 million from $2.6 million for the same period last year. Sales increased 22% to $36.9 million from $30.1 million a year earlier. For the nine-month period, net income rose 23% to $8.1 million from $6.6 million. Net sales totaled $107.1 million, 36% higher than the $78.7 million posted for the first nine months of last year. Diceon, based in Irvine, manufactures electronic circuit boards.
