Liberty National Bank in Huntington Beach posted net income of $269,162 for the second quarter, a 6.5% increase over $252,658 earned in last year’s second quarter. Quarterly revenue rose 10% to $3.2 million this year from $2.9 million last year. For the first six months, the bank’s net income was $411,411, a 2% increase over $401,728 earned in the same period last year. Revenue for the period rose 9% to $6.1 million this year from $5.6 million last year. Liberty National’s assets grew 5% to $111.1 million at the end of June from $105.4 million a year earlier. Total deposits rose 4% to $100.9 million at the end of the period from $97.3 million a year earlier, while the bank’s loan portfolio grew 19% to $76.8 million this year from $64.5 million last year.
