Thinking of writing a comedic screenplay? Best be careful who you lampoon, if a recent federal lawsuit filed against the makers of the current comedy hit “Big” is any harbinger. Welcome Wagon, an organization that handles advertising to corporate sponsors, filed suit Friday in Memphis, Tenn., to prevent the release of the movie for television or videotape distribution, alleging a suggestive joke in “Big” conveys the false impression that a typical Welcome Wagon hostess is promiscuous. “During his first day at work, one of his colleagues points to a voluptuous woman who is dressed in red,” the suit says. “The worker comments on her sexual prowess and says, ‘She is what we call the company ‘Welcome Wagon.’ ”
