Laguna Beach : Bus Route Is Extended to Dana Niguel Library
Laguna Beach Municipal Transit Lines has extended its Coast Highway bus service south to Dana Niguel Library.
Before last Aug. 1, the southernmost point on Route 581 was the intersection of the highway and Crown Valley Parkway. But Terry Brandt, Laguna Beach’s assistant city manager for municipal services, said there were many requests for service to the lower Laguna Niguel area.
Southbound route 581 buses now stop at Salt Creek Beach, continue on to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, cross the highway and stop at the Dana Niguel Library before turning around.
More information is available from the Laguna Beach Municipal Transit Lines at (714) 497-3311, Ext. 246.
